If you're joining us later in the campaign, the genesis of the Katee Writes Candy Land conversation began when we first voted on the setting for our collective Bluebeard retelling. Some of us (#candylandersunite) couldn't quite get past the bonkers idea of setting it in such a wild and wonderful world, so we've been trying to (lovingly) coerce my business partner into showing us what they could accomplish if we placed that setting into their creative hands for a short story.

We've tried repeatedly to bring our glorious chaos to life--and we got painfully close to having it win the vote on one poll. I know you'll do the right thing this time.
